AML / KYC Policy

Draft for legal and language review before publication.
Accurate merchant information
Provider-led verification
Secure handling of information
Scope and responsibilities
This draft describes preparation for anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) requirements when connecting services. PayZure supports coordination; it does not certify that a merchant has passed regulatory checks. The selected provider’s obligations and approval process must be confirmed separately.
Information that may be requested
Depending on the provider and business, requests may include legal business details, authorized representatives, beneficial owners, business activity and relevant supporting evidence. Additional information about payment flows or source of funds may be requested where appropriate. Submit only necessary information through an approved secure channel.
Identity and business verification
The provider determines the required documents and verification methods for its service. Supplying documents or receiving an application status in PayZure does not by itself mean identity verification or KYC approval is complete. Further questions or updated evidence may be needed.
Risk-based review
A provider may consider the business model, ownership, markets and payment activity when deciding what checks are needed. Higher-risk situations may require additional review. Actual screening methods, monitoring responsibilities and any reporting duties must be defined before a live service is activated.
Prohibited conduct
Do not submit false documents, hide required information, impersonate another business or use services to facilitate illegal activity. Do not bypass access controls or use another merchant’s keys. Cooperation with legitimate verification requests is part of responsible use.
Incomplete information and follow-up
Missing or inconsistent information may delay the application or require clarification. A provider may decline or pause its own service under its applicable terms. Any PayZure restrictions must follow the agreed service conditions; this page does not establish a right to seize or freeze customer funds.
Privacy and record handling
Handle verification information according to the privacy notice, authorized access rules and the purpose of the request. Recipients, retention periods and secure submission arrangements must be specified for the actual service. Do not include unrelated sensitive data.
Questions and concerns
Contact the team if you need to clarify a request, correct information or report suspected misuse. Give the relevant application or merchant reference where available. Never include passwords, API secrets or full payment-card details in a public inquiry.
